One of the loveliest and easiest ways to organize and store herbs is in a mason jar. A mason jar for spices and herbs is both manageable and showy. Not only will your herbs stay well conditioned, you can label your jars and still see the contents.

The only thing I might suggest is, if you live in a situation that humidity might get in the jars each time you open them, you might like to take your herbs out and dry them on occasion. The herbs should last a few years, but it would be sad to see herbs spoil.
