The last thing that you need when you are sick with a cold is to feel nausea.
Often times, when you are feeling nauseous, you don’t feel like eating or drinking anything.
But the truth is that some natural remedies, like ginger, can help in calming your stomach and making you feel better.
Luckily, the recipe is very easy and this spicy drink is not only helpful, but also very tasty.
Ginerole, the main substance of ginger, helps in „waking up“ your stomach and sometimes even speed up stomach emptying, which is oftentimes helpful when it comes to calming nausea.
Anti-inflammatory properties of ginger have been proven to improve the digestive functioning of your stomach.
Moreover, they help your organism release the hormones in charge of regulating your blood pressure, therefore calming your body down and eliminating nausea and sickness.
Note: Pregnant women should avoid drinking ginger tea, especially if they are close to the delivery date or if they have had a miscarriage in the past. Excessive take of ginger can worsen the bleeding, so it is better to play it safe and avoid ginger tea.
