Moreover, they help your organism release the hormones in charge of regulating your blood pressure, therefore calming your body down and eliminating nausea and sickness.

Note: Pregnant women should avoid drinking ginger tea, especially if they are close to the delivery date or if they have had a miscarriage in the past. Excessive take of ginger can worsen the bleeding, so it is better to play it safe and avoid ginger tea.

Ginger Nausea and Indigestion Tea Recipe

What You’ll Need

  • 4-5 slices of ginger root
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • ½ tablespoon of turmeric (optional)
  • cinnamon (optional)
  • honey (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Put slices of ginger in a frying pan
  2. (Add turmeric if you wish)
  3. Pour the water
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer
  5. Let it simmer for 10 minutes
  6. Remove from the heat
  7. Let it steep for another 5 minutes
  8. Strain
  9. Add honey and cinnamon if you like
  10. Enjoy

Note: Before taking the drink, consult with your doctor on the dosage. Some side effects might be stomach pain, diarrhoea, and gas, but if they will appear or not depends only on the individual.
